Dangers of Using the Ouija Board:  For “Fun” or Any Other
Crazy Reasons

Many people consider the Ouija board to be a game. However, it
is not a game, and can cause psychological damage to those who
“play” with what they do not understand. One might think that if
all that can go wrong with a Ouija session is some “harmless”
flickering of lights or unexplained noises then as long as one
doesn't take things seriously then there is no harm done.
Unfortunately that isn't the case. When one sets up the
circumstances where spirit people can communicate with
physical people then a group of spirit people will assemble to do
just that. The type of entities that will be drawn to this type of
practice will be those who have “issues” that keep them on this
plain to begin with.  These are not the type of spirits you would
like to have hanging around the house – long after the Ouija
session.

The spirit will prey on the user’s character weaknesses... If one is
vain, appeals to vanity are made. 'I need your help, ' the spirit may
say, 'and only you can help me.' If the entity is malicious and does
not hesitate to lie, they might misrepresent itself, usually as a
deceased loved one.

If the spirit that is contacted wishes to inhabit the user, it will try.
It's better for the spirit, of course, if the user is alone, isolated,
exhausted and ill – not as much energy is required. Thus, the
entity will encourage its users to drop real friends and rely only
on Ouija communication for counsel, advice and companionship.
The spirit could go on to make the user feel an uncontrollable
desire to use the board or write automatically at all hours of the
day and night. If the spirit meets resistance, it will terrify its
victim, materializing in different form, inciting poltergeist activity,
causing objects to appear out of the blue, or levitating objects.
All these things and more might be done as a means to an
eventual complete possession of the user.
